Name or nickname (optional): Po5-Fan
Location (optional): Germany
Age (optional): 14
Favorite Po5 character and why: Claudia, because I think she's the poorest of all the salinger kids, because she is the youngest child who could remember the parents.
Which Po5 character are you most like: Claudia
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Griffin because he is sweet
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: Po5 is like the reality.  It is the story of five kids, which lost their parents.  It is a real and very good story
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: I can't remember one of the new characters
Interests outside of Po5: soccer, PC
Favorite film: Gladiator
Favorite book/author: Harry Potter
Anything else you'd like to add: Po5 is super

Name or nickname (optional): Pilarspain
Location (optional): Barcelona (Spain)
Age (optional): my heart says i am 17 - : )))
Favorite Po5 character and why: Charlie, because he renounced his freedom in favour of his siblings.  I understand that at first it was very difficult for him because he was still too young to face the great responsibility.
Which Po5 character are you most like: Kirsten, (i would like also to have her beauty - : )))))) because i love children and family and she is really very sensible to both matters and because i love Charlie too !!!!
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Griffin, at first he can't find his own way but he loves very much Julia and he wants the best for her, even if this means to renounce to her.
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: This series is about a real family that you could find in your neigbourhood, and their problems are very, very common to all families. This series in the sixth season talks about many problems general to young people, and don't have fear to talk about good and bad feelings.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: I like Lou very much, and i wold like him to spend more time with Owen.
Interests outside of Po5: Reading, music, spending time with my family, also with my friends, and to travel when is possible.
Favorite film: A lot of them, but one that make me feel so romantic...... !! : LADYHAWKE, because in this film Rutger Hauer is so sexy... and Michelle Pfiffer is so beautiful.... Another one is Merlin (cartoon, from Disney, it is the best cartoon film i have seen and it is very funny).
Favorite book/author: All about thrillers and suspense novels.
Anything else you'd like to add: Thanks a lot to the fantastic PO5 7th season WRITTERS !!!

Name or nickname (optional):
Location (optional): Colorado
Age (optional): 26
Favorite Po5 character and why: Bailey because he seems to sort of be the glue that holds the family together whether it is running the restaurant, helping to raise Owen, or going through and surviving alcoholism. I loved his character and I loved him and Sarah.
Which Po5 character are you most like: Probably Bailey because it took him awhile to find his "niche" in life and it's taken me awhile, too.
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Bailey (do I sound like a broken record??) because I just think he's a great guy and has learned a lot from life.
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: The realism of the storylines, the opportunity to watch the 5 "kids" grow and learn from having to raise themselves and the strength that they all gained from their experiences.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: Curtis. I liked Claudia having to go through liking two people at once and having to deal with a long distance relationship and a new love close to home.
Interests outside of Po5: reading, watching movies, playing pool, driving in the mountains
Favorite film: American Beauty
Favorite book/author: Stephen King or Dean Koontz
Anything else you'd like to add: This site is great you guys! Thanks so much. I look forward to reading the episodes every week and am anxious for the 8th season to start!!!

Name or nickname (optional): Bobby C
Location (optional): Monmouth County, New Jersey, 30 miles outside of NYC (and Sara and Claudia at school!)
Age (optional): 35 yr old male
Favorite Po5 character and why: tough one, at times charlie because he is always honest, sometimes brutally so; bailey, because I think I am a lot like him personality-wise; and griffin, because i always wanted to be the brooding, cool James Dean type...hmmm, I would probably go with Charlie
Which Po5 character are you most like: oops, I answered that above, Bailey because our hearts are always in the right place and were both mature, sometimes too much.
Who would you date from Po5 and why: for one night, holly; as a regular girl-friend, probably Claudia, she is the most grounded; even though Sara is attractive, she can be depressing at times, she doesnt appear to be happy that often.
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: The only show in the last 15 years that was really based in reality..it didnt go for the sex angle to attract viewers; it provided you with real, emotional situations and dealt with them in a non glorified, non Hollywood way..there wasnt always a hero, but I felt these characters were real..I have never had a show tug at my heart like this one.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: michelle, she seemed real and genuine, concerned for griffin.
Interests outside of Po5: The Eagles (the rockers not the football team), Don Henley, music, playing basketball, being with my wife and son ryan, 3, exercising, sports trivia, and watching my favorite tv channel, ESPN Classic.
Favorite film: Ironically, I just put together a list of top 100: 5) Midnight Run; 4) A Perfect World (Costner) 3) Nightshift (Keaton, Winkler) 2) One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest 1) Breakfast Club
Favorite book/author: Read it when I was 13: The Outsiders
Anything else you'd like to add: Reading the 7th season makes me very satisfied and impressed with the creativity of the writers..at the same time, I am sad with the knowledge that PO5 will not be back on the air..I only got hooked in the fourth year, when Charlie had Hodgkins, when my wife got me interested...Since the mid 80's I have only watched two prime time series which are both classics in my book: Seinfeld and PO5...thanks for keeping my interest alive.

Name or nickname (optional): Terra
Location (optional): Springfield, IL
Age (optional): 34
Favorite Po5 character and why: Claudia, she's always been so mature for her age which made her very interesting to watch. I was amazed at what a good actress she was when she was young.
Which Po5 character are you most like: Baily-a bit uptight, good organizer and I get upset over little things that I shouldn't.
Who would you date from Po5 and why: I would enjoy dating Griffin because I am attracted to his bad-boy with a heart personality. But... I don't think I could last with him because he would drive me crazy making mistakes and he isn't necessarily the brightest. I guess Baily would be more for the long-run but I'm not sure if I could live with someone too much like myself.
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: I always liked how the storylines intertwined. If one was having a problem and went to a sibling to ask for advice, the sibling would usually be going through something similar and could relate to the problem and not be able to help since they hadn't solved it yet. Plus I have to admit I liked all the drama and romances. I don't watch much television and never watched this first-run. I got hooked on the Lifetime reruns and was really surprised how I looked forward to the next episodes. My favorite episodes are when they make fun of themselves. The first season showed Baily's football coach trying to get enthusiasm for a no win record and it was really hilarious. Also when they did the epsiode with what if the parents had lived and Baily was a guitar runner for a heavy metal band. It cracked me up.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: Curtis, he seems interesting, good looking, smart and a potential to keep Claudia on her toes.
Interests outside of Po5: Reading, movies, playing with my twins
Favorite film: Galipoli (Mel Gibson before he was famous)
Favorite book/author: Edith Warton
Anything else you'd like to add: I would like to see profiles of the writers. I would like to extend a big thank you to the writers for all their hard work, lots of time and effort for only our enjoyment. I've really enjoyed reading the episodes and can't wait for next season!

Name or nickname (optional): Julia or Jewelz
Location (optional): Penzance, Cornwall, UK
Age (optional): 26 (27th July if you want to send me birthday greetings!!! Hahahaha)
Favorite Po5 character and why: I think it has to be Charlie, he has come through so much since the beginning & changed so much as a person. I have cried my eyes out with him through the cancer & shared the happiness when he & kirsten got married. Of all the characters he has had the most to learn, & it has been great to watch every step.
Which Po5 character are you most like: Hmmmm, probably Kirsten!! I'm a sucker for anyone in need of help!!!
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Bailey....he's cute, sexy, fun & is clearly in desperate need of a sensible woman to point him in the right direction!!
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: PO5 has an ability to draw the viewer into the story in a way I have not seen before. It is not your average series/soap where everything is lightweight & silly or blown out of proportion but completely the oposite. It has built up the story of one familys lives, entangling you with the characters so that they are like people you actually know.
The stories are a true reflection of life & explores all aspects, be they good or bad. I have watched few episodes which didn't leave me in tears or feeling desperate for the next episode, & that is a rare feeling these days among game shows & fly on the wall documentarys.
I think the key to PO5's success is a combination of completely believable, lovable characters, an excellent script & the ability to invent exciting, gripping, but true to life storylines.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: I think Curtis, as it's been fun to watch Claudia grow up & now it's about time she got out into the real word & had a few new experiences. I think Curtis could be a very interesting character.
Interests outside of Po5: Art (Drawing/designing), Learning Astrology, Travelling, meeting new people, Alternative medicine
Favorite film: The Prophecy
Favorite book/author: The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper
Anything else you'd like to add:

Name or nickname (optional): Mallory_Po5
Location (optional): Northeast Mississippi, USA
Age (optional): 22
Favorite Po5 character and why: Griffin, because he's a sensitive, caring, and well appreciative guy like myself. He's always there when anyone ever needed him. Just like me.
Which Po5 character are you most like: Griffin
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Claudia, because I also have a musical talent with a stringed instrument. Not a violin.
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: It's the kind of show that relates to anyone who has ever lost one or both of their parents early in their life and has had to defeat every odd against them to survive in the real world.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: Curtis, because all season 7 long, I hoped that he and Claudia would start a romance relationship and I pictured myself every time in his place.
Interests outside of Po5: Sliders; Back to the Future trilogy; et al fictional time or interdimensional travel entertainment
Favorite film: Back to the Future I, II, III and hoping for a IV and V and more
Favorite book/author: There are so many to choose from, I can't decide.
Anything else you'd like to add: I didn't actually get hooked onto Po5 while it was on FOX. I came across it late one night last year while surfing the channels on my new (at that time) satellite dish and just stopped on Lifetime. There was this show about 5 kids trying to survive everyday life without their parents. "Interesting" I thought. And a well played cast of characters as well. So every night at 12:30 I was watching Po5. It sucks that Lifetime chose to take it off the air and instead air a show that comes on more than once and sometimes twice a day. That was stupid of Lifetime. YOU HEAR THAT LIFETIME!?!?! WE WANT Po5 BACK.

Anything else you'd like to add: I loved p05 and I miss it sooo much!!

Name or nickname (optional): Ashlei
Location (optional):  States
Age (optional):  16
Favorite Po5 character and why: Julia, because she's one of those love/hate characters, there is no in between with Julia. And she's always so hard to figure out.
Which po5 character are you most like and why: Claudia, b/c I'm very anal about my family's well being and us staying together, which is very much like Claudia b/c she was always the "glue" of the family.
In your own words, what makes po5 different from other shows: I'm not sure. I just turned it on one day, saw that it had the girl from Scream on it, and I've been hooked ever since.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: Michelle, b/c her story is so shady, in my opinion. And namely, b/c she's competition for Julia.
Interests outside of po5: writing, dancing, singing, acting (I'm not particularly good at any of them, but...)
Favorite film: I have no idea. I like them all, well except for the crappy ones.

Favorite Po5 character and why: Claudia-She was always the most level headed and mature, and when she was a young kid starting the show, she was so cute. She was always mature for her age, but she has grown to be a responsible young woman(adult).
Which Po5 character are you most like: Claudia
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Griffen, because he is very polite, sincere, honest, and attractive. Although he is low key in personality (quiet), he seems like he has a more fun side. He would be someone I could talk to (good listener).
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: The show is very realistic, and it delves into many of life's realities. The show focuses on all characters, and brings them to life making them all so likeable. The show always has a point to get across without the graphic violence and sex of most of today's shows. The show portrays the characters in a blend of emotional ups and downs, which you coming back to watch it and want more.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: I don't really have a favourite "new" character, although Nora seems like a good friend so far to Claudia. (To where I have read.) [Editor's note: SZ updated her profile, adding the following:]  I have read farther by the way, and Nora isn't so nice anymore. Although Todd was introduced in the series on tv, he seems really nice in the 7th season.

Name or nickname (optional): Xania_Z
Location (optional): Oklahoma City, OK
Age (optional): 25
Favorite Po5 character and why: Griffin: 1) He has a heart the size of  Texas and knows how to love more deeply than most characters I've ever  seen on television/in print. 2) He's from Oklahoma. 3) He's an amazing  hottie - it's the eyes and the hair!
Which Po5 character are you most like: Bailey - except for the gender  difference, I can totally understand why he does a lot of why he does.  (Well, except during the whole drinking phase, but even then, I understand the addictive nature of Bailey) My path in life has actually been similar (to a point) to his character's.
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Griffin (same reasons as to why he is my favorite character).
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: Po5 maintains the characters - flaws and all. They didn't change each person radically in order to make the character fit the crisis - the crisis fit the character!
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: Matthew - because he is bringing out the "responsible" side of Griffin and I'm sure he's going to grow into a great character - after all, he's Griffin's son!
Interests outside of Po5: EVERYTHING! Volleyball, reading, tennis, hanging out with friends, learning to fly (it's a brand new interest), you name it, I'm interested (at least to an extent).

Location (optional): Exeter, Devon UK
Age (optional): 19
Favorite Po5 character and why: Claudia because she's a similar age and I identified with alot of her experiences

Who would you date from Po5 and why: Claudia! She's cute and she's more my type of girl personality wise, mature and thoughtful but still naive and sweet.
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: It's realistic and you can relate to the characters. I've never watched any other sort of "soap" program at all.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why:

Anything else you'd like to add:

Name or nickname (optional): Michelle
Location (optional): California
Age (optional): 14
Favorite Po5 character and why: I love Sarah. I don't know why she is my favorite character, but I always loved the storylines with her and Bailey the most. I was incredibly sad when she left because I wanted her to be with Bailey so badly! Most people can't see how much they love each other--but look how much they have gone through to be with each other! Bailey ignored her, cheated on her, and nearly killed her. And she still trusts him and loves him. Bailey needs to realize that.
Which Po5 character are you most like: I am most like Claudia. I can relate to her story line, mostly because I am a teen and am experiencing those teenage things. Her story lines of crushing, going on shopping sprees to feel stylish, and trying to fit in are most like my life.
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Bailey! He's so sincere and nice, plus he doesn't hide his feelings.
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: Party of Five has touched me in a way no other show can. It can reach out to everyone through diverse characters. It's storylines are so touching they make us cry, laugh, and smile right along with them. We feel like we are part of thier family everytime we watch it. And thats whats different.

Favorite Po5 character and why: My favorite Salinger would be Claudia, especially when she was younger. We watched her grow up from overalls (loved those on her!) to high heels and were there for all the stuff in between.
Which Po5 character are you most like: I'd have to say I'm most like Justin. I'm whiney, clingy, and unsure of myself because of people burning me, too! I'm nowhere near as hot as he is, though.*lol*
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Oh man. That is a toss up between Justin and Will, but I think I would lean more towards Will, just for the fact that he's lots of fun to be around and we would always make eachother laugh.
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: If there was another show about 5 kids who were left without any parents, they would be depicted as partying all of the time, without any responsibilities. PO5 dealt with so many "issues" in a non-glamorous way and the ending wasn't always so pretty. It was one of the few dramas that the whole family could watch and left you with that "good feeling" afterwards.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: Cole, without a doubt. He is a lot like Will, except maybe a little more on the edge. He keeps Bailey from being so serious all of the time.
Interests outside of Po5: The internet, television/movies/music, reading, spending time with nieces and nephews, and spending time with friends
Favorite film: Either The Goonies or Dirty Dancing
Favorite book/author: Anne McCaffrey
Anything else you'd like to add: I'm just so grateful I found this site! Bless ya'll for keeping the Salingers with us for a little bit longer!

Favorite Po5 character and why: Julia, her character is strong yet vulnerable
Which Po5 character are you most like: probably Julia
Who would you date from Po5 and why: Julia, for the above reasons
In your words, what makes Po5 different from other shows: ALL the characters are intriguing and likeable and the show's basis is about family. I might add that the shows from the 1st through 4th seasons were the best.
Favorite "new" character (one introduced in the 7th season) and why: Just started reading the episodes
Interests outside of Po5: sports and family
Favorite film: The American President
Favorite book/author: The 7th season episodes and the writers involved
Anything else you'd like to add: Bring the show back to Lifetime!
